The large dog area at the Waverly Hill Dog Park will be temporarily closed for approximately one week beginning today (Monday).

For the third year in a row, the city will use goats to manage some of the vegetation growing in the large dog side of the park.

“Your cooperation is greatly appreciated,” the Charles City Department of Parks & Recreation said in a press release.
