Charles City High School’s fall musical production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” will make its premiere tonight.

Tickets cost $5 for students and $10 for adults. The show will be presented Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. at the North Grand Auditorium.

The musical, with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, is based on the biblical “coat of many colors” story of Joseph in the book of Genesis. Its family-friendly story, familiar themes and catchy music have resulted in tens of thousands of stagings.
