Immaculate Conception Catholic School has announced it will hold a “Wildcat Kickstart Camp,” which will be a “soft opening” to the 2020-21 school year, starting Monday and running through Thursday next week.

The camp was created during Return to Learn planning in response to COVID-19. It is provided to students registered at IC for the 2020-21 school year, to assist them in returning to the routine of school and support their social and emotional well being, according to information from the school.

The camp begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 11:30 am. Students will participate in activities with their classroom peers and homeroom teacher. IC is also offering students academic diagnostic testing one afternoon of the same week for a 45-minutes session.

Students are encouraged to participate in the dress up days for each day of the camp.

Monday is “Proud to be a Wildcat” day, when students will be encouraged to wear blue or IC gear. Tuesday is “Bold, Bright, and Back” day, when students can wear bright, bold colors to “light up the school.”

Wednesday will be “Matchy-Match” day, when students can match with other students or a teacher. Thursday will be “Every Day is a Holiday” day, when a student can dress for a holiday of their choice, such as Christmas, Easter or Halloween.
