The Charles City Singers, under the direction of Scott Blankenbaker, held their first rehearsal of the 2019-20 season on Monday at the Charles City High School choir room. All local singers were welcome for what was called a “painless audition.”
This season’s highlights will include collaborations with the Charles City Community Chamber Orchestra and the Charles City High School choirs, as well as a spring concert.
This is the 45th season for the Charles City Singers. The group typically performs two shows each year, one before Christmas and one in the spring.
