Gerald Heddinger

Gerald “Bud” Heddinger, former resident of Charles City, died December 1, 2019 in Daytona Beach, Florida.  He was born in Kossuth County on May 29, 1928, the son of Agnes and George Heddinger. He married Mary Jean Baldwin in Charles City in 1950.  Mary Jean died July 2, 2000. He is survived by a son Daniel (Lorri) Heddinger, of Battle Creek, Michigan; a daughter, Denise Van Sickle, Daytona Beach, Florida; three grandchildren; Danielle and Jared Heddinger and Michael Van Sickle; five brothers; George, Kenneth, James, John and Robert Heddinger and four sisters; Jeanette Balint, Paulette Goodman, Cheryl Hartman and Fran Oldham. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, three sisters: Betty Ross, Mary Clark McGinn and Marjorie Staudt.
