Terry Landers

Terry Landers, 43, formerly of Greene, passed away Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020 as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Alabama. A visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020 at the Woodley Funeral Home. A private family funeral service will take place following visitation. Woodley Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Iowa Falls is caring for Terry and his family.

Terry E. Landers was born Aug. 2, 1976 to Glenn Edward and Patricia Elaine (Butler) Landers in Charles City, Iowa. He attended Greene Community Elementary and High School then Ellsworth Community College for two years. Terry married Karla Bailey and they had two children, Autumn and Alex. The couple later divorced. Terry enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking, barbequing for his kids watching sports, fishing and animals. He had an artistic talent and especially enjoyed photography, being in nature and photographing all the beauty of it. His passion for photography is evident to all those fortunate enough to have enjoyed his work.

Terry Landers is survived by his children, Autumn (Mitchell Heyveld) Landers of Kellogg, Iowa and Alex Landers of Grinnell, Iowa; mother, Patricia Landers of Mason City, Iowa; father, Glenn Landers of Greene, Iowa; ex-wife, Karla Harter of Grinnell, Iowa; a grandson, Jackson Heyveld; sister, Tami (Trent) Stalzer of Iowa Falls, Iowa; brother, Shawn Landers of Hays, Kansas; nieces, Madison Stalzer of Ankeny, Iowa, Karsyn Stalzer of Iowa Falls, Iowa; nephews, Camden Stalzer of Iowa Falls, Iowa, and Aiden Stalzer of Iowa Falls, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donna and Donald Butler and Ella and Ernest Landers.
