Lois Anne Wedeking

Lois Anne Wedeking, 68, passed away at the University of Minnesota Hospital on May 23, 2020 from complications of heart disease. Lois was born Aug. 26, 1951 in Le Mars Iowa, the daughter of James and Mary Patten Fisher.

She attended Le Mars Community School until 1968 then the family moved to Nashua where she graduated from Nashua High School in 1970. Lois worked at several care centers in the area as a CNA and a CMA until her health forced her to retire.

On June 17, 1983 she married James Wedeking and they resided in Nashua all their married life. Lois enjoyed her flowers, gardening, cross stitching, crocheting, bird watching, and loved her animals. Jim and Lois especially loved driving around the countryside, going fishing and just sitting by the water having a picnic.

Lois is survived by her husband Jim of 37 years, one son Troy Hannemann and a daughter Heather (Shane) Critz all of Las Vegas, Nevada, three sisters Linda, Lynette, Lorraine and two brothers Lee and Larry and many nieces and nephews.

Upon her wishes, she was cremated and there will be no services.
