Robert Guy DeBolt of Vancouver, Wash. the 59-year-old son of Robert E. and Marjorie DeBolt of Charles City, died on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008 at his home.
He was a 1967 graduate of Charles City High School. Robert served in U.S. Navy for 20 years, before finishing college and then was a councilor at Vancouver Veterans Hospital until his retirement in 2006.
He is survived by his wife Carrie; two daughters, Darcie of San Diego, Calif., and Lacey, Vancouver; his parents, Mr./Mrs. Robert DeBolt; and three sisters: Karen (Andre’) Moutenot, Patricia (Richard) O’Banion of Nora Springs and Marilyn (Gary) Wilcke of Ames.
