Supports Salmon for state Senate District 29

By Victoria Shipp, Nashua

I am writing this letter to ask you to consider voting for our state Republican representative, Sandy Salmon, for Iowa Senate District No. 29. I have volunteered to help Sandy in her previous campaigns.

Sandy is advocating for legislation in the next session to protect landowners’ private property rights which are at risk with the Iowa Utilities Board (considering) to allow private companies to use “eminent domain” to seize their farm ground to capture hazardous CO2 in their pipelines.

South Korea has a 10% ownership in the Summit Pipeline. Saudi Arabia is also involved with the pipeline, working through a foreign agent who is registered with the U.S. government.

Sandy will stand for our private property rights.

I ask you to join with me, Nov. 8th election, to vote for Sandy Salmon.

Urges support for Lundberg in House 58

By Jim Sanner, Charles City

Tuesday, Nov. 8th, voters will cast ballots for candidates at the local, state and national levels. One of these candidates, Dené Lundberg, is running for the position of state representative, covering Charles City and surrounding communities.

Dené’s background makes her uniquely qualified to represent us in the Iowa Legislature. Her 40 years of devoted service to our public school system gives her a keen insight into needs and issues facing our school systems. That, due in part, to the lack of public funding over the years from our Legislature along with a sometimes contentious attitude toward educators in our public schools from many of those same legislators. This has and continues to be a huge issue we need to address at the state level.

Dené’s background in agriculture has also provided her with an empathetic perspective on problems and concerns facing our farming neighbors, especially smaller family-run operations. On a personal level, Dené is committed. She has worked tirelessly during the campaign season going door-to-door here in Charles City, as well as other communities, sharing her vision of what’s best for rural Iowa. That speaks to her work ethic and her dedication to the job at hand. She takes this responsibility seriously and passionately.

I would urge everyone to vote Nov. 8th. Regardless of outcome, this election gives all of us an opportunity to make a statement. And I strongly recommend that you consider Dené Lundberg to represent all of us at the House of Representatives.

Impressed by Salmon, urges her support

By Jennifer Miller, Floyd

A couple of years ago I met Rep. Sandy Salmon at a legislative meeting. I was impressed by Sandy’s knowledge of the issues, but more than that; by her deep concern that Iowans remain Free! In the House, Sandy has defended and fought to keep our right to Life, our right to speak freely, our right to keep and bear arms, and women’s rights by protecting girl’s and women’s sports. If you value freedom, please join me in voting for Sandy Salmon for State Senate!

Please cast vote for Salmon for Iowa Senate

By Ruth Mitchell, Charles City

I am asking you to support Sandy Salmon for Iowa Senate District 29. I have followed Sandy as she has been a state representative for several years. I am impressed with her hard work, honesty, trustworthiness, and common sense.

She was born and raised in northwest Iowa, served in the Marine Corps, married and has lived in northeast Iowa for 30 years. Sandy homeschooled her children through high school so she knows education and has budgeted for a one-income family, so she knows finances.

She will be an advocate for pro-life, school choice, gun rights, balancing the budget, election integrity, law enforcement, etc.

I know that Sandy will work hard in the Senate to do what is best for the people of Iowa. Please cast your vote for Sandy Salmon.

Enlightened by Salmon’s knowledge on issues

By Todd Becker, New Hampton

I was inspired when I met State Rep. Sandy Salmon for the first time last November while she was in New Hampton contemplating a run for the new Iowa Senate District No. 29 which includes all of Chickasaw, Bremer, Butler, and most of Floyd counties.

Sandy’s authenticity resonated with me throughout her introduction.

She learned faith, family, and hard work values while growing up on a small family farm in northwest Iowa. Then she graduated from UNI and served in the Marine Corps before raising and educating three sons with her husband. The last 10 years Sandy has served in the Iowa Legislature representing Bremer and a portion of Black Hawk counties.

I asked to receive her biweekly legislative newsletter (www.sandysalmon.org) and continue to be enlightened by her working knowledge of budget, taxes, regulation, education, private property rights, support for the preborn, 1st and 2nd amendments issues, election integrity, (coronavirus), law enforcement, and veteran affairs.

I consider Sandy Salmon a prime candidate for Iowa Senate District No. 29 and urge you to support her on Election Day, Nov. 8th.
