Spirited singing returns to grades 3-4

Elementary school students handed out cards at businesses they sang at on Friday, inviting the community to their school concert on Dec. 19.

Charles City third and fourth graders are inviting community members to the grades’ first concert in 40 years.
A small group of singers passed out cards and personally invited staff and customers of local businesses to the show, scheduled for next Tuesday, Dec. 19. Third and fourth graders will perform at 7 p.m. in the Charles City Middle School Gymnasium at 1200 1st Avenue.
The students were one of several groups to perform Friday at First Citizens National Bank.
