I.C. Field Day

Kickball, hula-hoops and other playground games were the scheduled events for students from Immaculate Conception Elementary School on Tuesday afternoon, as the school held its Field Day at the I.C. Ballfields.

The sporting and gaming activities followed a family picnic, where the kids enjoyed some fine outdoor dining with parents, grandparents and other family members.

Temperatures in the mid-90s didn’t seem to stifle the energy of the students, although there were a few more trips made to their water bottles, and a few students could occasionally be seen staring off toward the Dairy Queen on the horizon.
