The Charles City Police Department is actively searching for two burglary suspects considered armed and dangerous after a Saturday morning assault over the weekend.

Police took a report of an assault that occurred at the 2100 block of Clark Street in the Casa Apartments parking lot Saturday morning. A handgun was displayed during the assault. After an investigation, the CCPD executed a search warrant for an apartment at that address around 7 p.m, Saturday.

Multiple warrants were issued for Tristan Walker. His warrants are for 1st degree burglary, going armed with intent with a dangerous weapon, false imprisonment, willful injury, and obstruction of emergency communications. A second warrant was issued for Tasiana Stephens for 1st degree burglary, going armed with intent with a dangerous weapon, and willful injury.

These two individuals are considered armed and may be dangerous. The CCPD says this was an isolated incident and feels the public is not in immediate danger. Police warn not to approach these suspects, but if they are seen to call local law enforcement.
