Kids of all ages painted pumpkins of all sizes Tuesday afternoon during an event at the Charles City Public Library. The library supplied the pumpkins and paints for the children to create their own funny, scary or sometimes simply pretty pumpkin masterpieces.
Pumpkins ranged from large orange orbs that were quickly snatched up by some of the older kids, to tiny varieties in whites, yellows and oranges that nestled nicely in the little tykes’ hands.
Almost 30 kids showed up to take part in the free activity.
