Four nervous girls were waiting to hear the results after their speech and a question.  Jewel Gipple, Nora Sullivan, Elizabeth Appel and Emma Sinnwell were waiting to hear Sarah Sudol announce the winner.  “And the winner is…Emma Sinnwell,” Sudol said.

Sinnwell’s speech was about how supportive Nashua residents are to her and the great community support when it comes to events.  “I like glitter, a lot of glitter,” said Sinnwell laughing when asked what makes her unique. The question she drew was one she was not expecting, but her answer did make her unique.

Sinnwell is the daughter of Nat and Amy Sinnwell and she will be a junior this fall at Nashua-Plainfield High School.  Sinnwell keeps busy with FCCLA, National History Day, Chorus, Luther League, Future Problem Solvers, Husky Leadership Team, Cross Country and Track.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her great-grandma and grandpa, boating, running and hanging out with her family and friends.

Sinnwell’s future plans include attending a four year college and would like to work with children in education or healthcare.

“I’m a little surprised and really honored to be queen,” said Sinnwell.  She is so excited to be celebrating Water over the Dam Days as Queen for the rest of the weekend.
