Some of the canines dove right in, others needed a little coaxing Sunday afternoon at Doggy Swim Night at the Charles City Swimming Pool at Lion’s Field Drive. The “PAWS Plunge” enabled dogs and owners, including kids, to enjoy the pool for one night, before it gets drained and cleaned for the end of the summer season. Sponsored by First Security bank in Charles City all fees from the plunge go directly to PAWS Humane Society to care for homeless dogs and cats.
