Construction on Clark Street light poles progressing

There has been construction on Clark Street all this week in Charles City on nine light poles that are being worked on by Communication Data Link out of Grimes, Iowa.
Communication Data Link, subcontracted by MidAmerican Energy, placed conduit underneath the base of the light poles after removing the concrete surrounding it. The concrete and conduit work was started on Monday and was finishing up on Wednesday.
Workers with Communication Data Link said MidAmerican Energy will come in later this week and run wire through the conduit to install it.
