Clair M. Troge

Clair M. Troge, 88, of Rice Lake, Wis., passed away on Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, at his home.

He was born March 26, 1927 in rural Floyd County to Fred and Elsie (Morische) Troge. Clair attended elementary and high school in Charles City, was a member of the National Honor Society and was active in sports, lettering in football. Clair was married in Charles City on Aug. 26, 1947 to Kathryn Olson.

He continued his education at Iowa State Teachers’ College in Cedar Falls, and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in 1950. He worked for many years in the lumber industry, retiring from Lampert Yards in 1990.
