Larry A. Lunn
Larry A. Lunn, 78, Sebring, FL, passed away at 7:16 a.m. on Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Good Shepherd Hospice, following a very brief cancer diagnosis.
Larry was born on April 25th, 1939, in Mitchell, South Dakota. He spent all but his last 15 years in Charles City, Iowa – where he worked at Oliver/White Farm Equipment as a Tool & Die Maker….and then retired from GMT in Waverly, IA.
Larry’s passion for the Lord and his servant’s heart were a great combination – allowing him to serve with Gideons International (since 1982) and following retirement – volunteering as a carpenter/project director for MMAPS, where he was able to put his carpentry gifts and talents to use.
He was a longtime golfer, had a passion for playing cards and enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Larry is survived by his wife of 58 years, Neva Lunn; daughters: Gloria Lunn & Lois LeForge (son-in-law, Gene LeForge), Son: Allen Lunn and three grandchildren: Josh Lunn, Kyle LeForge and Christina LeForge.
A memorial service will be held at the Bible Fellowship Church (3750 Hammock Road, Sebring, FL) at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 31st. In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to Gideons International or Bible Fellowship Church.
