Jeffrey Gregg

Jeffrey Gregg, age 59, of Woden and formerly of Algona passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Hancock Memorial Hospital in Britt. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church in Algona, with Rev. Dr. Loren Shellabarger officiating. Visitation will be 1:30 pm until service time on Saturday at the church.

Jeffrey Allen Gregg, the son of Leonard and Shirley (Nelson) Gregg, was born on April 27, 1959 in Algona, Iowa. He graduated from Algona High School. Jeff worked at Winnebago Industries in Forest City. Jeff enjoyed working on anything with a motor, tinkering and fixing things, riding his motorcycle, going to the races (especially in Knoxville), traveling around the United States (seeing all lower 48 states and Canada), watching action movies and spending time with his granddog Tika.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Tara Jo Gregg of Ames and Cory Gregg of Siegen, Germany; parents, Leonard and Shirley Gregg of Algona; a brother, Mike Gregg of Catoosa, OK; nephews, Russell and Jon Bunger, Tyler and Alex Gregg; a niece, Abby (Gregg) Cunningham; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members. He was preceded in death by loving dog, Tuffy in 2017; grandparents, Dick and Gladys Nelson and Paul and Irma Gregg; and an uncle Allen “Skip” Nelson.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed towards Jeff’s family.
