LETTER: Jail staff supports Crooks for sheriff

The Floyd County Jail will be going through significant changes in the very near future, and it is crucial for Floyd County to have a sheriff that has the knowledge and experience to navigate through these changes.

We believe Chief Deputy Crooks is the best candidate to lead Floyd County through these changes. He is jail-certified, vastly familiar with jail operations, a member of the committee and been involved in meetings regarding the new jail from the start.

Chief Deputy Crooks has demonstrated his unwavering commitment and dedication to the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office and jail. He is always willing to assist us with the duties in the jail.

We ask that you support Chief Deputy Crooks and cast your vote for him and the future of Floyd County on Nov. 8.
