LETTER: Trump the right choice

If I were eligible to vote in the 2016 presidential election I would vote for Donald Trump, and so should America. I would vote for Trump because we need his immigration laws.

I also think that lowering taxes and reducing that number of tax brackets is a good idea.

Finally, I would vote for Donald Trump because of his views on the military.

Donald Trump’s immigration laws are something that we need in this country.

The wall that Trump wants to build is a little too extreme but the idea of keeping illegal immigrants out of this country is something that I think would benefit us. The illegals can bring drugs and crime into America, giving us a bad reputation. Illegals and other non-citizens in our prisons, as of 2011, were responsible for over 25,000 homicides.

If there are less illegals in America there will be more job opportunities for you Americans and legal immigrants.

My second reason for why I would vote for Trump is because of his views on taxes.

To me, it makes sense that If you lower taxes people will have more incentive to work because they will make more money. Donald Trump will do this by decreasing the number of income tax brackets that we have from seven to three. If I could vote, this would be of great importance to me.

Finally I would vote for Trump because he thinks the military is important. Trump thinks that we should destroy ISIS. Even though Trump hasn’t released his plans to defeat them, it doesn’t mean he does not have plans. It is good how Trump thinks we need to tell our allied countries what we are doing. He plans to increase the number of ships in the Navy, the number of battalions in the Marine Corps, and increase to size of our Air Force. This is what America needs.

You may think that Trump is a liar and doesn’t have a plan to defeat ISIS, but would you rather a president that doesn’t release his war plans easily, or would you rather have a president who tells their plans to everyone in the entire world? The answer is clear.

I would vote for Trump because he wants to end illegal immigration, decrease income taxes, and strengthen our military. America needs Donald Trump.
