I have known State Sen. Mary Jo Wilhelm for almost a decade. She is practical, dedicated, and knowledgeable. She is remarkably committed to public service and to representing us effectively in the Iowa Senate. For eight years, she has been a champion for rural and small-town Iowans, which is a natural fit for her North Iowa district. Most of all, Mary Jo listens and responds to input from all citizens she represents. She works hard to capture local input and to represent our views with her characteristic common sense and integrity.
