Letter to the Editor: Proud of FFA students on trip

I am a retired power lineman currently driving bus for the Charles City schools.

Saturday, March 3, I took the Charles City Chapter of the FFA students to their district convention in Buffalo Center, and I would like to say I have never seen such a group of young adults.

They were very respectful to everyone and behaved very well on the bus trip. It was a pleasant day, and the very best thing I witnessed was at the closing ceremony and all the “blue coats” stood and said the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag, and there wasn’t a snowflake in the bunch.

Way to go, Mr. Lundberg and your students. Carry on.
