Dylan Koresh honored for 100th wrestling win
Charles City senior Dylan Koresh recorded his 100th career varsity wrestling victory last week during a dual meet against Waverly-Shell Rock. Earlier in the season during a meet at Central Springs, Koresh recorded his 50th fall victory.
Koresh is a two-time State Wrestling Championships qualifier and was a podium placer at last year’s state meet. For most of the season, Koresh has been ranked among the Top 10 Class 2A 170-pounders in the state by several wrestling publications.
During an evening dual meet against Osage on Saturday, Koresh earned a 4-3 decision win over Green Devil Spencer Mooberry (pictured), who was ranked No. 5 among Class 2A 170-pounders at the time.
