JJ Ritter finishes baseball career at Bismarck State with .405 batting average

MILES CITY, Mont. — Charles City 2021 graduate JJ Ritter concluded his college baseball career with the Bismarck State Mystics last week at the Region XIII tournament.
The Mystics lost to Williston State College 9-1 last Monday (May 15) in the Region XIII National Junior College Athletic Association Tournament, ending BSC’s season with a 30-9 overall record.
Ritter ended the season with a .396 batting avg., 34 runs, 42 hits, 9 doubles, 3 triples, 1 HR, 39 RBIs, and 16 walks.
Ritter was third in the conference in batting average and was selected to the All-Mon-Dak Conference Baseball Second Team.
In his two years with Mystics, Ritter finished with a career .405 batting average.
In a preview story before the tournament, BSC head coach Jaden Scott was quoted, “JJ Ritter is probably the most consistent player in the conference.”
Ritter graduated with a graphic design and communications degree last week as well.
