Auditions for the Stony Point Players’ summer production of “Beauty and the Beast” will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Charles City High School choir room, with roles available for persons age third grade to adults; the show will be presented June 30, July 1 and 2; persons trying out need come only one night, but are welcome to attend both nights; elementary students must be accompanied by an adult; practices will begin April 25 and will typically be on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 6 to 9 p.m..
