Public Meetings

MEETING NOTES:

• Public bodies must make a detailed meeting agenda available at least 24 hours in advance of a meeting, posted on a community bulletin board near the meeting site and/or online, unless the meeting is called for an emergency situation.

• Meetings of public bodies are open to the public.

• Public meeting times and/or locations may be changed or added by a government body as needed, but agendas must be posted at least 24 hours in advance.

Charles City Area Development Corp. — 8 a.m., every fourth Wednesday of the month at the Charles City NIACC Center.

Charles City Council regular session — First and third Mondays of the month, 6 p.m. at the council chambers at City Hall. Click for council agendas

Charles City Council workshop – Wednesday of the week after a regular council meeting, 6 p.m. at the council chambers at City Hall; no formal action taken. Click for council agendas

Charles City Community School District Board of Education — Second and fourth Mondays of the month, 6:15 p.m. usually in the high school library. Click for Board of Education agendas

Charles City Parks and Recreation Board — Third Wednesday of the month, 5 p.m.; site varies.

Floyd County Board of Supervisors — Regular meeting every Monday at  9 a.m. in the boardroom on Floor 2 of the courthouse. Click for Floyd County boards agendas

Floyd County Medical Center Board of Trustees — Third Monday of the month, 5:30 p.m. in the hospital conference room.

North Cedar Aviation Authority — Third Wednesday of the month, 1 p.m. at the Northeast Iowa Regional Airport conference room.
