“We had quite a few people call in or personal message (on Facebook) and give information that was instrumental in us being able to execute the search warrant,” Anderson said.

He also cautioned residents to lock car doors and keep personal property out of sight.

“It was all a crime of opportunity,” Anderson said. “Small items were taken, mostly cash, change, and a lot of wallets and purses. Don’t leave those in your vehicle.”
