Kids at Immaculate Conception Elementary School had a refreshing way to end the day on their first day back to classes.
Five volunteers handed out slices from 15 watermelons from Fareway on Wednesday, serving 210 kids grades preschool to sixth grade on the school’s playground. The watermelon was provided by the IC Parent-Teacher Organization.
