More businesses joined the crowd on Wednesday, pitching passion projects to the students of Iowa BIG North.
High schoolers from Charles City, Rudd-Rockford-Marble Rock, Osage and New Hampton sat through their second day of business pitches. By the end of this week, students will choose at least two passion projects to follow up on through the semester. Iowa BIG North participants will have their choice between 24 project pitches.

The Chucktown Legends won the 12U Gold Division Bracket while hosting the annual Legends Firecracker Classic youth baseball tournament played this past weekend at Lion’s Field Park and Sportsmen’s Park. Players include Hunter Apel, LJ Barry, Owen Barry, Blake Bohlen, London Gemaehlich, Gavin Hamm, Dax Johnson, Tucker Johnson, Reece Krivachek and Cooper Mahnesmith.
