Marble Rock Historical Society presents its sixth annual Prairie Christmas

A “Prairie Christmas” was the theme of the evening Saturday in Marble Rock, as the Marble Rock Historical Society presented its 6th annual community get-together centered at the Beelar Cabin.
The event included snacks, hot cocoa, hot cider and plenty of time for socializing at the cabin.
Clayton Black, a member of the historical society, read passages from the Bible telling the Christmas Story, and his wife, Diane Black, the president of the Marble Rock Historical Society, played carols on the pump organ for a sing-along.
The event also included tractor-drawn hay rides throughout the evening, and other of the Historical Society buildings in downtown Marble Rock open for the evening.
