Cedar Falls woman killed in crash at Highway 14 intersection near Marble Rock

A Cedar Falls woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Friday evening, May 16, at the intersection of Highway 14 and County Road B60 about three miles east of Marble Rock in Floyd County.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, Britney Huffman, 38, was driving a 2013 Utilimaster box truck westbound on County Road B60 when the vehicle failed to stop at the intersection and struck a southbound 2019 Jeep Trail Hawk on Highway 14. Both vehicles entered the southeast ditch following the collision.
Huffman was ejected from the truck and pronounced dead at the scene. She was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the report.
The driver of the Jeep, Autumn Taylor, 35, of Greene, Iowa, sustained minor injuries.
The crash occurred at approximately 8:10 p.m. Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Scott’s Towing.
The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, Marble Rock Fire and Rescue and AMR ambulance assisted at the scene.
