Walkabout to prep you for Thanksgiving:

Thanksgiving eve, great chance to work off some of that big meal before you eat it by joining in on Walkabout Wednesday. Walkers will meet between the YMCA and Trinity Methodist church at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25 and get a little exercise in. No one left behind, all abilities welcome.

It’s Senior Center Membership Month:

November is Membership

Month for the Charles City Senior Citizens. The $10 fee includes: cards and/ or pool play; $10 off if renting the center; and the members only at the annual Christmas Party.

Anyone wishing to join can do so with either Noriene North or Ken Elliott Mon – Fri mornings at the Senior Center or by mailing $10 to the Senior Center, attn.: membership.
