The Charles City School Board voted 4-0 Tuesday night to expel a student for the rest of the year and suspend him from extra-curricular activities indefinitely. The high school wrestling coaching staff attended the meeting to testify. The boy and his family did not attend. The expulsion is linked to an incident earlier this year when the student allegedly struck an assistant coach.
