PREP WRESTLING: SIX area wrestlers RANKED

Charles City’s Max Forsyth holds down  his opponent Dec. 12 in a quadrangular at Western Dubuque. The Comet senior is ranked eighth in the Class 2A 145-pound bracket by IA Wrestle. Other local wrestlers ranked include Forsyth’s teammates Austin Staudt, seventh as a 138-pounder; and Nick Jacobs, 10th as a 195-pounder. In Class 1A, Rockford junior Will Portis (113) is ranked fifth, North Butler junior Dalton Nelson (152) is ranked sixth, and Nashua-Plainfield senior Jason Fisher (195) is ranked ninth.
