“PV and the Phantoms” jammed to some classic rock, kids played all kinds of games and adults kicked back, relaxed with the beverage of their choice, and socialized with friends at the first Party in the Park of 2018, Friday night in Central Park in Charles City.
Now in its 16th season, Party in the Park is a series of Friday night public gatherings in Central Park, hosted by Community Revitalization.
Included were free live music, games and other activities, food vendors and a beer garden.
This Friday was “Rivals Night,” so many of the folks who gathered wore their favorite team apparel.
The next Party in the Park will be June 15, and will feature the band Exit 113, which will pair with a “Decades Night” theme.
