A Christmas concert was presented Thursday evening by the Charles City Fifth and Sixth Grade Chorus at North Grand Auditorium.
The fifth-graders sang “The Polar Express” by Glen Ballard and Alan Silvestri, as arranged by Alan Billingsley, “Think Snow!!” by Jill Gallina, and “Jingle Bell Sleigh Ride,” a medley of Christmas and winter songs arranged by Sally Albrecht.
The sixth-graders sang “Winterlight” by Amy Bernon, “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” by Kristin Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, arranged by Mark Brymer, and “Silver Bells” by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans, arranged by Charles Naylor.
The choirs are directed by Tara Dean, and were accompanied by Chris Cleveland.
