‘Jivin’ With Jazz’ show tonight

Music will fill the Youth Enrichment Center at the Floyd County Fairgrounds tonight as the Charles City Performing Arts Booster Club presents the annual “Jivin’ With Jazz” music concert and dinner, starting at 6:30 p.m.

The event, which will also feature a silent auction and dessert bar with the dinner and show, is a fundraiser for the jazz program.

Featured entertainment will include Charles City High School’s instrumental jazz ensemble as well as the vocal jazz groups Rhymes With Orange and 2JazzedUp.

Jivin’ With Jazz has been a tradition at Charles City for at least 15 years, and initially included just instrumental jazz performances. The vocal jazz groups have been added over the last couple of years.
