Cinnamon Evans was crowned prom queen and Bryant Mitchell II was crowned king Saturday night following the grand march during the 2019 Charles City High School Prom.
More than 200 students participated in the grand march, held in Comet Gym Saturday evening. The dance followed the event, which was open to the public. The post-prom gathering began at midnight at Comet Bowl, and lasted until 3 a.m. The theme for the prom this year was “This is our year.”
Queen candidates were Evans, Madelyn Tjaden, Nora Sullivan, Cora Crooks and Jodie Sindlinger. King candidates were Mitchell, Kelly Ward, Chase Foxen, Ryan Zuspan and Nicholas Litterer.
