Charles City FFA holds awards night, selects leadership team for 2019-20

Blake Frascht was presented with the Charles City FFA Leadership Award and the Chapter Star Farmer award Sunday night, while Lauren Connell was presented the award for FFA member of the year as the Charles City FFA held its awards night at the Floyd County Youth Enrichment Center.

Members were recognized at the event, annual awards were given out, the new officer team was installed and there also was a career development event showcase.

Chapter Star awards were given to Max Deeter in agriculture placement, Anna Krumwide in agri-science and Madelyn Tjaden in agricultural business. Tjaden also received the DeKalb Scholarship.
