2020 Party in the Park dates announced

The dates have been announced for the 2020 Party in the Park summer series, organized by Community Revitalization, Charles City’s Main Street Iowa program.

Entering its 18th season, Party in the Park has become a summertime tradition with its free live music, food vendors, beer garden, children’s activities and more in Central Park from 5-9 p.m. on select Friday evenings.

“For 2020, the Party in the Park Committee is busy planning some new twists and features, including fewer event days but with more to offer each time,” according to Mark Wicks, Charles City community development director.

“Stay tuned to find out just what those might be!,” he said.

In the meantime, the dates of those events have officially been set: May 29, June 19, July 31 and Aug. 14.

“Mark your calendars to be sure you don’t miss out on the fun!,” Wicks said.

Community Revitalization is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to enhancing downtown Charles City as part of a great place to live, work and play.
