In other local FFA news, Charles City will once again host FFA Leadership Day on March 27 at the Youth Enrichment Center at the Floyd County Fairgrounds.

National FFA Secretary Kourtney Lehman, along with members of the state and district officer teams, will be presenting leadership workshops along with opening and closing sessions.

This will be the second time in three years an FFA national officer has came to Charles City. About a dozen FFA chapters attend the event, where district and state FFA officers attend and put on workshops for local FFA students.
