IEDA seeks local assistance with community impact survey

To The Press

The Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) is asking all local businesses, attractions and organizations in Charles City and Floyd County to help it assess the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in Iowa by taking a few minutes to fill out an online survey.

Developed by the University of Northern Iowa Institute for Decision Making, the survey can be found at https://uni.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_4SK7W5qa88IkhXT and asks about what your business is experiencing and how your business is handling the current crisis

IEDA will use the information collected in this survey to inform its public policy in response to the crisis, as well as potential assistance to businesses.

The deadline to complete this survey is 5 p.m. Monday, March 23.

“Thank you for mobilizing and providing this information on such short notice,” the IEDA stated.

“We will remain connected with you in the coming weeks to provide additional guidance as warranted. Our thoughts are with all of you and our business community, and we remain confident the efforts we are undertaking today will mitigate the long-term impact on our economy.”
