Ikes donate to Floyd County Conservation Board

The Floyd County Ikes recently made two donations to the Floyd County Conservation Board. Ikes Board Member Matt Ross (on the right) presented two checks to FCCB Director Adam Sears. The Ikes donated $735 towards the purchase of youth snowshoes that will be used in the FCCB’s outdoor youth program. In addition, the Ikes donated $592 towards the purchase of hunter orange vests which will be presented to people completing a local Iowa DNR hunter education course. The local chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America has supported the FCCB and its projects for almost 40 years. (Photo submitted.)
