‘McTeacher’s Night’ at McDonalds
Charles City Lincoln Elementary School administrative support staffer Jeanine Tudor and 4th-grade teacher Melinda Masters pose with the Soifer Family McDonald’s mascot, Birdie, Wednesday evening. The public was invited to join Lincoln teachers, administrators and staff members for the first “McTeacher’s Night” at McDonalds. Customers could meet teachers in the drive-thru or inside the restaurant as they served with the McDonald’s crew. A portion of the proceeds from the fundraising event went to the school, and at the end of the shift teachers were presented with a check of $844.94. (Press photo James Grob.)
