CCCF selects T-shirt design for Full Moon 5K
To the Press

The third annual Charles City Community Fund Full Moon 5K is coming up on Friday, April 28.
“This run/walk has become one of the biggest fundraisers we do to help raise funds to help agencies within our community,” said Tracy Walker in a release. “It is also the second year we have held a design contest for the 5K T-shirt.”
Seven students from the high school’s Graphic Design II class submitted designs to be considered. Caiden Biggerstaff, Shelby Effle, Kaylee Loftus, Riley Perez, Kirah Vickerman and MacKenzie Zweibohmer all came up with worthy entries, but the CCCF board ultimately decided on Kristen Aikey’s submission as the winner.
“We on the CCCF Board look forward to this part of the 5K planning as it is always so much fun to see how creative the students can be,” wrote Walker. “It was very hard to choose from so many unique and creative designs.”
Those interested in running or walking can still sign up for the 5K, and there is also a free Kids Fun Run to participate in.
