NIACC expansion on track for Charles City Career Center

Progress is going well for the construction of NIACC’s Career Center expansion.

“We’re on timeline,” said NIACC President Steve Schulz. “Everything seems to be heading on track.”

Construction for the expansion will be blocking off a portion of Clark Street this week as progress continues, but the road should be open up again by the middle of next week.

Schulz says that NIACC is currently working out arrangements to provide temporary services over the summer and that everything is looking on track for the expansion to be ready for its opening this fall.

“We’re excited,” said Schulz. “If we stay on schedule we will clearly make that fall start.”
