Charles City pool expected to be open every day beginning Monday, June 5
Although the Charles City municipal swimming pool at Lions Field opened as usual on Memorial Day, it had a reduced schedule the first week as additional needed lifeguards were certified and hired. The pool was open only Monday and Wednesday last week, but starting this week on Monday the pool is expected to be open seven days a week from 1 to 5:30 p.m., except for weather closures, according to an announcement from the Charles City Department of Parks and Recreation.
