A few furry friends were looking to find forever homes as PAWS brought some of their animals to Tellurian Brewing for a meet-and-greet.

“It’s good for the animals to get out of their cages and away from the shelter for a bit,” said PAWS assistant manager Jacie Peichel.

Journey the dog, Juniper the cat, and a trio of kittens named after “Beauty and the Beast” characters were there to socialize with the patrons and make a good first impression to potential new owners.

“It’s nice to get to know the animals first before deciding,” said Peichel.

Applicants to adopt a pet, or even foster an animal, can fill out a form online or at the animal shelter. PAWS is also in need of volunteers willing to donate time or funds to keep their doors open.
