Pendulum painting at the Charles City Public Library

The Charles City Public Library moved their Get Messy activity indoors on Tuesday, painting by pendulum in the Zastrow Room. Styrofoam cups filled with paint swung from tripods, leaving artful spatters on the paper canvasses as kids tried their best to keep the paint on the tarp and off their shoes or carpet. Upcoming plans for Get Messy activities in October include paper mache, Minute to Win It games, and pumpkin carving.
